About Loreto Ministries
Progressively expanding access to high quality, inclusive education within our Loreto Schools and providing leadership in response to contemporary needs.
Established in 2015 by the Australia and South East Asia Province (Loreto Province) of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Loreto Ministries is the lead governance body of the Loreto Province and is a not-for-profit public company that services over 7,500 students and hundreds of staff as well as people in need across the region.
Loreto Ministries aims to build upon the Loreto Province mission and ensure the ongoing sustainability across two key areas of specialty, overseeing education and also developing operations. It is responsible for seven Loreto Catholic private schools in Australia, two associated schools and Loreto Vietnam.
Each school has a unique spirit underpinned by the values of the Gospel and the charism of Mary Ward. Students and our wide network of friends, including both past and present students, continue to contribute enormously to Australian society and the Church in a myriad of ways.
To be inspired by the values of Mary Ward to support, expand access to high quality, inclusive, and caring education and to provide leadership in response to contemporary needs.
A Church and world where all people have access to quality education which inspires and empowers full participation in a spirit of justice and freedom.
