“Loretto Eucalyptus Blossoms”
This series consists of the school magazines of Australian Loreto Convents. It is one of the earliest school magazines in Australia. The first edition was produced in June 1886 although a previous unpublished magazine "Nuggets" had been circulated in 1883.
There were apparently no editions in 1894, 1900 and 1907.
The 1901 edition takes on a different name and format to celebrate Federation and is called “Institute of the B.V.M. in Australia”.
There is a gap between 1915 and 1922 perhaps due to the death of M. Gonzaga Barry in 1915.
A prospectus type publication was produced in 1920 which is largely a photographic record of Mary's Mount. This is included in this series although not "Eucalyptus Blossoms" as such. Also included is the Golden Jubilee Magazine for 1925.
