This series consists of material collected for a proposed publication to be produced by the Loreto Schools of Australia. The collection was to be a published collection of insights into individuals' experiences of the Loreto tradition. The aims were defined as - To record the experiences of lay people who had been associated with Loreto Schools in Australia during the period of transition from religious to lay leadership in the many facets of the school community. To discover and share contemporary lay experiences of Mary Ward's spirituality. To place these experiences in the broader context of Loreto education and changes in the Church and society of the time. Written contributions were elicited from principals, staff, past students, parents and members of councils from each of the main schools. These contributions are arranged by the school from which they were associated.
