Welcome to the MWIA team!
Mary Ward International Australia welcomes and would like to introduce two new members to their team. As of April 2018, Rachel McLoughlin ibvm joins MWIA as Volunteers Coordinator and Heather Kitson as Communications and Donor Stewardship Coordinator.
Rachel McLoughlin ibvm has been assisting MWIA in recent years with the spiritual preparation of their young volunteers and is thrilled to be able to provide greater support in the formation of their Volunteer Program. Rachel is in the final stages of completing her master’s in theological studies focusing on Mary Ward’s Spirituality and brings much experience to the role between her work facilitating the ministry leadership program for Catholic Health Australia and Catholic Social Services; the vocation ministry for the ibvm and her good work at the Cabrini Asylum Seekers Refugee Health hub in physiotherapy.
Heather Kitson will be overseeing all MWIA communications whilst Elouise Hahn is on maternity leave. Studies in both communications, public relations and marketing combined with a professional background in print journalism, marketing and PR make Heather a great fit for this role. Heather has done further studies in education and taught in schools in the Middle Eastern country of Qatar. Heather is mother to four children and has been involved at Loreto as a parent and former president of the Loreto Kirribilli Parents & Friends.
We welcome Sr Rachel McLoughlin and Heather Kitson to MWIA.
