A community was established on the South Western Highway, Armadale, Western Australia, in 1976, at first with two sisters and then three in 1977 when the community moved to Third Row, Armadale.

Up until 1970 Sisters had been travelling from Thornlie to work at St. Francis Xavier’s School in Thomas Street Armadale.

In the first term of 1978 the three sisters working at the school moved to the community at Nedlands and the house reverted to the Parish.
