Overview
In 1969 Archbishop Goody of Perth introduced ‘clustering’ which gave religious orders responsibility for schools in particular areas. Loreto took responsibility for the schools in the Thornlie area.
Loreto was asked to take responsibility for St. Francis Xavier School in Armadale, taking over from the Sisters of Mercy.
