Sr. Susan Daily ibvm Unveils Collection of Religious Cards: A Spiritual Journey in Art

Sr. Susan Daily ibvm, an accomplished artist with a lifelong dedication to her craft, has recently introduced a captivating collection of religious cards, including a set for Christmas, offering artistic expression aimed at connecting individuals with their spirituality. Inspired by her deep-rooted passion for art and her commitment to nurturing spiritual connections, Susan’s creations seek to resonate with those seeking a profound link to their faith.

The genesis of Susan’s venture into religious art finds its roots in the influential work of Jesuit priest Fr. Michael Scott SJ. Revering Scott’s dedication to uplifting religious art, especially in the realm of contemporary Australian Religious Art, Susan found herself drawn to continue his mission.

Susan’s involvement in Loreto and other Catholic schools, where she conducted workshops in banner-making, iPad drawing, and engaged in prayerful art sessions across various dioceses, has significantly shaped her artistic perspective. These experiences not only facilitated connections with students and individuals seeking spiritual expression but also fueled her passion for creating soul-stirring art.

Her impactful work in indigenous communities earned her the prestigious Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2015, underscoring her commitment to using art as a tool for unity across diverse cultures.

Transitioning into the digital era, Susan has expanded her reach by offering her designs in various formats, including digital cards, JPEG files, and printed posters on cloth. This commitment reflects her desire to make religious art easily accessible for art enthusiasts.

“Each design has been carefully crafted with love, devotion, and a deep understanding of the spiritual journey,” shares Susan. Her religious cards serve as a conduit for connection, offering solace, inspiration, and encouragement to those seeking a deeper connection with their faith.
